Archdale, NC: Infrastructure
The City of
Archdale has purchased 2.5 million gallons per day of wastewater
treatment capacity in the City of High Point’s Eastside
Wastewater Treatment Plant. 1 million gallons per day of the 2.5
million gallons per day of treatment capacity has been allocated
to current customers. The City is a member of the Piedmont Triad
Regional Water Authority and has 12.45 million gallons of water
per day available from the Authority. In addition, Archdale’s
water system has interconnections with both Davison Water, Inc.
and the City of High Point’s water systems for redundancy and if
needed, additional capacity.
City of Trinity is situated in the North Carolina Piedmont –
part of the Piedmont Plateau that extends from New York to
Alabama, where the terrain rises gradually from the coastal
plain to the base of the Appalachian Mountains. Located in the
northwest corner of Randolph County, Trinity is adjacent to
Thomasville to the west, High Point to the north and Archdale to
the east. The planning area encompasses the current boundaries
of the City and its surroundings – an area of approximately 38
square miles in size.
